With patience and feeling
For many years, St. Jakob in the Ahrntal was a stronghold of mask carvers with its own carving school. This love for wood and its processing lives on at Tischlerhof. The name of the farm already suggests antique woodworking – a fine tradition, which I, farmer and your host Stefan Innerbichler, continue with great joy. As a trained wood carver, I am particularly enthusiastic about turning. For this, I use a historic woodturning lathe in my workshop at the farm. On it, I make a variety of practical objects such as vases, bowls, plates, and dishes from native wood. Decorative objects such as wooden fruit and custom-made products are also made from ash, spruce, or larch wood.
